Partner & Family Visas

Reuniting individuals and families in Australia through structured, evidence-based applications.

Overview

We assist individuals and families to reunite in Australia through structured, evidence-based applications, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and strong supporting documentation. Our focus is on relationship evidence, financial interdependency, and legal compliance — ensuring applications are decision-ready and aligned with legislative requirements.

01

Subclass 820 / 801 — Onshore Partner Visa

The Subclass 820 (temporary) visa allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to remain in Australia while their permanent visa is processed. The Subclass 801 (permanent) visa is granted at the second stage, usually after two years, once the relationship is assessed as ongoing and genuine.

  • Applicant must be in Australia at the time of application
  • Requires strong evidence of a genuine and continuing relationship
  • Work and study rights granted during processing
  • Pathway to permanent residency
02

Subclass 309 / 100 — Offshore Partner Visa

The Subclass 309 (temporary) visa is for applicants outside Australia who are in a genuine relationship with an Australian partner. The Subclass 100 (permanent) visa is the second-stage visa granted after further assessment of the relationship.

  • Lodged and initially processed offshore
  • Allows entry to Australia once granted
  • Requires comprehensive relationship evidence
  • Leads to permanent residency
03

Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300)

Designed for people engaged to an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen who wish to travel to Australia to marry their partner. This temporary visa allows entry, marriage within the visa period, and then an application for a Partner Visa (820/801).

  • Both parties must be at least 18 years old
  • The couple must have met in person and know each other personally
  • Genuine intention to marry within the visa validity period
  • Pathway to permanent residence through the Partner Visa program

  • Subclass 143 — Contributory Parent Visa (Permanent): faster processing, higher charges, Balance of Family Test
  • Subclass 804 — Aged Parent Visa (Onshore): lower cost, long processing, bridging visa during wait
  • Subclass 864 — Contributory Aged Parent (Onshore): faster than 804, aged applicants
  • Subclass 884 — Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary): two-step 884 → 864 pathway
